Yield: Very good Dry Matter: Medium Market Quality: Floury; no discolouration after cooking, suitable for crisp production. Haulm: Develops rapidly, upright and tall, gives good ground cover, strong and vigorous stems. Diseases: Moderately susceptible to foliage blight, slightly susceptible to tuber blight, good resistance to virus A and virus Y-n, immune to virus X, resistant to pathotype A of the golden nematode. |
Plant: Stems few in number, thick, erect, spreading and purple. Leaves fairly large and drooping downwards to the side, dark green; main leaflets fairly large and broad, with shallow veins; flowers fairly large and numerous, white. Tuber Shape: Long oval; yellow, wholly smooth skin, dark yellow flesh, shallow eyes. Sprouts: Cylindrical, dark blue-purple, densely hairy, terminal shoot fairly large, light blue-purple, a few short lateral branches. Observations under Niğde Conditions: Number of main stems 4.4, starch content 13.7 %, average tuber weight 160 g, flower colour white, many-flowered, stems long and erect, flesh colour yellow to dark yellow, average number of eyes 5, tuber shape long oval. |
