Natural store excavation
The soft volcanic tuff of Cappadocia can be cut into cold stores that then hold their temperature on their own. We have been excavating and fitting out these stores for our own use for years, and we do the same work for other growers.
The work covers survey of the site and rock, cutting the chambers and access, and finishing them out for crop storage. What a store costs and how long it takes depends on the rock, so the first step is always a look at the ground.
