| Maturity: Medium-early Tuber Shape: Very large, slightly susceptible to internal rust spot, eyes of medium depth. Yield: Very high, and size uniformity good (good grade). Dry Matter: Low Market Quality: Fairly firm-fleshed, completely free from discolouration after cooking. Haulm: Very rapid initial development, then continued good development; good drought tolerance. Diseases: Fairly susceptible to foliage blight, slightly susceptible to tuber blight, good resistance to virus A, fully resistant to virus Y-n, immune to wart disease. |
Plant: Stems few in number, fairly thick, slightly prostrate, dull purple; leaves fairly large and dark green; main leaflets large, oval and fairly deeply veined; flower clusters numerous and white. Tuber Shape: Short oval, light yellow, skin smooth, light yellow flesh; eyes of medium depth. Sprouts: Fairly elongated, short cylindrical. Brown-red-purple in colour. Sparsely hairy, terminal shoot small and closed, stolon-like lateral sprouts; early development. Observations under Niğde conditions: Number of main stems 2.68, starch content 11.8 %, average tuber weight 112.52 g. A variety sought after by growers. |
